Trek the Trail with Bill Gates

Trek the Trail Challenge

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

As part off this year's 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, Supervisor Gates is raising the bar with his own personal challenge to inspire community members and take in the beautiful sights of Maricopa Trail.

"In my first year as a Supervisor, I’m excited to make the Challenge a yearly tradition and  will be focusing on the entire Maricopa Trail, which links all of the county’s regional parks together. I’ve made it my personal goal to hike the entire 315-mile Trail by the end of my first term in office and will be out for my first hike, bright and early on November 1."

To learn more about the 100 Miles in 100 Days challenge, passport programs and prizes, visit the Parks and Recreation Department and the Community Facebook page for challenge participants.
