[ARCHIVED] Let them Play to Live!

Dogs Playing for Life

Dogs Playing for Life (DPFL) is a training program that has made an impact on shelters throughout the country. DPFL gives shelter dogs an opportunity to get out of their kennel to socialize and exercise with other shelter dogs. Regular play group sessions provide the dogs with an opportunity to run and burn off some energy. As a result, many of our play group dogs are learning to better cope with shelter life. Daily exercise helps the dogs relax and become better behaved in the kennels. And most important ... the play groups give us insight into a dogs true personality. How nice is it to be able to tell potential adopters, "Oh, Bambi is a rockstar in play group! She gets along with everyone she meets."

Be sure to stop by and check out our play groups!
